Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger seemed to be in good spirits as he trained with Germany ahead of their friendlies against France and Netherlands over the international break.
The veteran heads into the matches on the back of an excellent display for Man United in the 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
Schweinsteiger has earned 113 caps for his national side and he will likely be a key figure for them in the European Championships next summer.
He was in good company in training with Germany alongside the likes of Thomas Muller and Lukas Podolski:
Louis van Gaal will just be hoping that Schweinsteiger comes through the international break unscathed. The 31-year-old oozes clash and leadership on the pitch in a United shirt and his displays could be the difference between a successful campaign and a mediocre one.
