Anthony Martial‘s header against CSKA Moscow has been named Manchester United’s October Goal of the Month.
The 19-year-old’s precision header won 49% of the vote after it earned Man United a crucial point away from home in the UEFA Champions League and came at a time where we were struggling to break down a disciplined Moscow side.
It’s another piece of recognition for Martial after his superb start to life at United and after the international break, fans are hoping he can get back to goalscoring way.s
That being said, let’s be honest, Martial didn’t exactly have much competition in October did he? Overall, there were only four goals scored by Man United in October in all fixtures and Ander Herrera‘s goal against Everton finished in second place with 37% of the overall vote.
Martial is in action with France on Friday evening up against Bastian Schweinsteiger in what should be an exciting game with Germany, even if it is only a friendly.
