Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie is on Manchester United’s radar should they fail to land their top transfer targets this January, according to ESPN.
Ritchie registered 15 goals and 17 assists last season as Bournemouth won promotion to the Premier League.
The Scot has been a standout performer for the Cherries this term and he bagged a wondergoal in their 2-0 win over Sunderland in September.
Man United have been linked with the likes of Sadio Mane and Ayoze Perez in recent weeks but they are also keeping tabs on Ritchie if deals for their top targets do not come off.
Louis van Gaal has stated recently that he is looking for wingers to inject ‘speed and creativity’ into his squad.
While Ritchie is undoubtedly a talented player, any deal for the Scot would come as a huge shock to United fans. However, van Gaal has been doubted before, with the signing of Anthony Martial, and the Frenchman has only gone from strength to strength at Old Trafford.
