Manchester United have completed the signing of former Arsenal midfielder DJ Buffonge from Fulham.
The 17-year-old, full name Darren Raekwon McIntosh-Buffonge, went through a trial with Man United at the start of the campaign.
He impressed, playing a series of U18 matches and registering a number of assists, but he picked up a niggling injury problem which took him out of the limelight.
However, United were satisfied with what they saw and have brought Buffonge into the club on a scholarship contract.
United have a number of youngsters coming through and several have impressed in the first-team in recent weeks.
The likes of Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have been given opportunities in recent weeks and Buffonge will be hopeful of following in their footsteps after some hard work in the academy set-up.
