Gary Neville and Patrice Evra shared a moment before England’s game against France in the tunnel with a smile and a handshake.
Both players were absolute legends at Manchester United and it’s good to see them together again, albeit for a brief moment in the tunnel.
It takes me back to the days where we had Neville bombing down one wing and Evra on the other. Those were the days (no offence Rojo and Darmian…) when United offered so much danger and width from the full-back positions.
In the future, I’d love to see Neville and Evra back at Man United in a coaching capacity. They’re legends of the club, know what it takes to motivate others and are ambassadors of United even though they have left.
Who knows, maybe we’ll have Neville, Giggs and Evra all working on the same coaching staff in a few years time.
