Ashley Young has warned his Manchester United teammates that Watford will be no pushovers when the two teams face each other this weekend.
Newly-promoted Watford have enjoyed a solid start to the Premier League campaign and currently sit in 11th position in the table.
Man United, meanwhile, occupy fourth having secured a 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion last time out.
Young insisted Watford will provide a tough test for Louis van Gaal’s side.
“It won’t be an easy match,” Young said.
“A lot of people wrote them off at the start of the season but they’re a team that works hard and gets players on the ball, and they score goals. They’ve been in good form recently but hopefully we can go there and get the three points.”
Watford have an impressive defensive record this season and United’s struggles from an offensive point of view have been well documented. The hope is that United will have enough to secure three points at Vicarage Road but van Gaal will undoubtedly warn his players against complacency.
