Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has dismissed speculation linking him with a moves to Chelsea and Barcelona.

Van Persie moved from Man United to Fenerbahce this summer but he is reportedly unsettled in Turkey.

There have been rumours suggesting Barcelona were planning a shock January bid, while Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is also said to be keen on bringing him back to the Premier League. However, van Persie insisted he is happy at Fenerbahce.

“There is a lot of talk about Chelsea and Barcelona but I have received no offers and I am dedicated to Fenerbahce,” he said.

Van Persie played an instrumental part in United’s last Premier League triumph, scoring a number of goals as the club finished top of the pile in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge.

His form gradually worsened after that, however, and he was deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal. It would be a bitter blow if the Dutchman was to join Chelsea, as van Persie endeared himself to the Old Trafford faithful during his time at the club.
