David de Gea urges Manchester United to ‘grab’ victory against PSV Eindhoven

David de Gea has urged his Manchester United teammates to “grab the three points” against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.

Man United face PSV at Old Trafford knowing that a win will seal their passage into the knockout stages.

Louis van Gaal’s side will be confident heading into the clash but PSV beat United 2-1 earlier this term. De Gea admitted United are in for a “difficult” night but that securing a victory is vital.

“We know it will be a difficult game but we need to get the victory and grab the three points,” De Gea said.

“We started off with a defeat in the first game, but since then we’ve steadily been picking up points. A win would put us through to the next stages, so now we’re just a small step away from qualification.”

United will likely have the likes of Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney back for the clash and they should be well rested following their absence from the win over Watford last weekend.

It is crucial that United advance to the next stage of the competition and Old Trafford will be buzzing when PSV come to town. Psychologically, the players should also be boosted after the late goal which secured victory at Vicarage Road last week.
