Both players didn’t feature during the week in the UEFA Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven but fans were hoping to see them back in action for this weekend’s trip to the King Power Stadium.
However, that’s not going to be the case and Man United are going to have to deal without them.
Louis van Gaal tells #MUTV that Phil Jones and Ander Herrera are still out. The boss will assess his squad after an "intense" midweek tie.

We really miss Herrera when he isn’t in the team and I think it’s a massive blow that he’s not fit to return. Wayne Rooney was ineffective in the No.10 role against PSV but he’ll most likely start in that same position once again.
As for Jones’ absence, Daley Blind has slotted back into central defence so it isn’t the worst thing in the world but if Marcos Rojo is for whatever reason not fit, then Blind will have to slot in at left-back and Paddy McNair will most likely be drafted into the team.
