Adrian: West Ham are confident heading into Manchester United clash

West Ham United keeper Adrian has insisted his side will be full of confidence heading into the game against Manchester United this weekend.

West Ham enjoyed a solid start to the campaign in which they beat the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool away from home.

However, their progress has stalled somewhat due to injuries to key players such as Dimitri Payet and Diafra Sakho. Adrian believes West Ham will provide a tough test for Man United.

“We have plenty of confidence going to play there and I think we can show a great performance and get a good result”, Adrian said.

“We are playing well but sometimes we are a bit unlucky and it was the same against West Brom last weekend. I believe we can get good results if we are playing to our top level.

“It is always disappointing to miss players like Dimitri Payet and Diafra Sakho but we have a good squad of players who can come into the starting XI. We have many players in attack and I have confidence in all of them.”

Slaven Bilic’s side have shown this season that they are more than a match for any team in the Premier League on their day.

United’s problems up top, meanwhile, have been well documented. It will be an interesting match at Old Trafford but United supporters will be eager for their side to secure all three points. Louis van Gaal’s side have drawn far too many games lately and they need to turn them into wins if they are to mount a title challenge.
