Predicted XI: Manchester United vs West Ham United

by Sam Peoples

David de Gea – No need to say any more.

Matteo Darmian – If he’s going to find his form again, he needs to be playing every game at right-back again.

Chris Smalling – So long as Chris is in our team, the defence should stay strong at its core.

Paddy McNair – Another big opportunity for McNair with Jones’ injury.

Daley Blind – Rojo and Shaw are out, so Blind is our only natural left-back at the moment.

Morgan Schneiderlin – Still the first name on my midfield team-sheet every week.

Bastian Schweinsteiger – Set up the goal away at Watford and scored against Leicester – same again on Saturday?

Jesse Lingard – Is fit to return and should be coming straight into the starting XI again.

Juan Mata – Would like to see Mata play in the middle to bring pace on the wings.

Memphis Depay – Now is his opportunity to really make a name for himself and step up to the plate.

Anthony Martial – Will lead the line this December with Rooney out suffering from an ankle problem.

Formation – 4-2-3-1: Can’t see us using 5-3-2 at home against West Ham. Plus, we need to stick with four at the back.
