Manchester United striker James Wilson scored on his first start for Brighton and Hove Albion where he is on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old was making just his second appearance for the club since joining on loan last month and managed to dribble past three defenders before slotting into the back of the net. It was a frustrating sight for Man United fans, who, at the same time, were watching their side play out a 0-0 draw with West Ham at Old Trafford.
The sort of impact Wilson had for Brighton is exactly what United needed in the final stages against the Hammers. The Reds struggled in front of goal, as they have all season, and had to settle for yet another goalless draw. Wilson could have been the man to unlock the defence and he showed Louis van Gaal just what he is capable of with a brilliant goal.
