Bastian Schweinsteiger not feeling the pressure in Wolfsburg

by Sam Peoples

Bastian Schweinsteiger is well aware of what Manchester United must do out in Germany against Wolfsburg but insists there is no big pressure on the players.

Man United need to win away from home in order to guarantee a place in the UEFA Champions League knock-out stages and know that a draw could see them fail to qualify.

Despite that knock-out pressure, Schweinsteiger insists the players are ready to prove themselves and is convinced they will put in a good performance.

“There is no big pressure,” he said.

“We are here in Wolfsburg and know the situation – we need a good result and just have to think about our performance of how we beat Wolfsburg. We did it in Manchester and we want to do it again. We have to prove ourselves. I’m convinced we’ll make a good game tomorrow evening.”

In terms of our Champions League prediction, view this at Bonus Code Bets, we’re not wholly confident going into the game.

Wolfsburg are a strong team and have the home advantage against a United side who are struggling to score, so if they play well then it’s going to be really tough for us to break them down.

That being said, there’s plenty of quality in our side and certainly enough to score a few goals. If our defence can stay as strong as it has been and our attack can pull it together, then we can definitely qualify but whether that happens is a different question altogether.
