Javier Hernandez was once again on the score-sheet for Bayer Leverkusen in their 1-1 draw with Barcelona and continued his fine goalscoring streak.
The Mexican striker has now scored 12 goals in his last 11 games and is proving to be a very prolific and consistent goalscorer at his new club. His sort of form is reminiscent of the unproven Chicharito who cooked up a storm when he joined Manchester United back in 2010.
With Man United struggling so badly in front of goal, some fans aren’t too happy with seeing Chicharito scoring for fun at Leverkusen when he wasn’t adequately replaced by Louis van Gaal:
He sold Hernandez and replaced him with nothing. Never forget.

Javier Hernandez scores against Barcelona tonight. That 12 goals in 11 games.
But it's fine, we got 8m quid for him

Nowt against Hernandez but this "given chances he'll score" is wide off the mark. Struggled in second season under Fergie and at Real Madrid

Let’s not forget that Hernandez couldn’t hit a barn door before he was subsequently sold by van Gaal to Bayer Leverkusen but it does beg the question of whether his poor form was simply down to a real lack of opportunity?
Either way, it’s a bitter pill for United fans to swallow to see a striker we sold for very little money this summer, less than £10m, doing so well when we can hardly score at all.
Do you think van Gaal was right to let Hernandez go?
