David de Gea has insisted Manchester United will “fight back” following the disappointing 2-1 defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Man United have now gone five games without a win as they were beaten by Bournemouth thanks to goals from Joshua King and Junior Stanislas.
Louis van Gaal is under immense pressure at the club as a result but De Gea backed United to recover from the “painful defeat”:
A painful defeat and a disappointing situation, there's no excuse. We are @manutd and we'll fight back

United have shown virtually no signs of progress this season and they are in real danger of fading into obscurity unless something changes.
The lack of desire and drive was painfully obvious against Bournemouth and it looks as if van Gaal is unable to motivate the players.
It is likely that he will be given until the end of the season to turn things around but it is unclear exactly how he will do that. Speculation surrounding names such as Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti has been growing and it is hard to see van Gaal in the job next season if United’s poor form continues.
