Every one of Manchester United’s games are now starting to grow in importance.
Following two consecutive defeats against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth, Man United fans are desperate for Louis van Gaal‘s side to turn it around with a win and a home match against Norwich is a great opportunity to do that.
Something which is important right now is what our starting XI will look like because injuries have caused us so many problems with our selection. In this potential XI, we see the return of Morgan Schneiderlin and, more importantly, Chris Smalling as well as an important switch in attack.
We missed Smalling badly against Bournemouth and conceded two goals from set pieces for the second game in succession. With our attack misfiring so much at the moment, we need Smalling leading our defence.
In attack, I’d like to see Ashley Young come back into the side. I’m not sure why he has been left out in recent games but he certainly deserves the chance to be recalled.
We simply need to win against Norwich, there’s no two ways about it, but is this team strong enough to do it?
