Pep Guardiola has made a decision regarding his future but is yet to confirm whether that will see him leave Bayern Munich.
With his contract expiring in the summer, Guardiola could leave Bayern after three years in charge and a host of clubs included both Manchester United and City have been linked with him.
As one of the best managers in world football, Pep won’t be short of options if he leaves but right now he is refusing to confirm whether an exit is on the cards.
“Kalle [Rummenigge] knows absolutely everything,” Guardiola told reporters on Friday.
“The club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I have said time and time again that we will say something after our final game in Hannover, and that’s how things are going to stay.
“I’m just focusing on Hannover. I’ve been watching their games.”
When Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2012, Guardiola was my first choice to replace him but David Moyes came in and we all know what happened then.
If Guardiola does announce he is leaving, Man United will have a big decision to make because regardless of what Louis van Gaal does this season, his contract runs out next summer.
Could we afford to miss out on Guardiola and let van Gaal see out his contract? That’s a debate United fans are having at the moment. Have your say by getting involved in the debate here on United Peoples TV.
