Video: Manchester United fans boo Louis van Gaal following defeat against Norwich City

Manchester United fans appear to have finally run out of patience with Louis van Gaal following the 2-1 defeat against Norwich City on Saturday.

Van Gaal and the players were booed off at Old Trafford after they put in a dismal performance against the Canaries.

Cameron Jerome and Alexander Tettey gave Norwich a 2-0 lead and Man United could not prevent defeat despite Anthony Martial’s strike. Supporters voiced their disapproval at van Gaal after the game:

United have now won only four times in their last 14 games and haven’t won in six in all competitions.

The players look disinterested, there is no clear identity on the pitch and results have simply not been good enough.

It is a dismal state of affairs and the blame has to lie with van Gaal, whose slow, possession-based style of play has been completely against the ethos of the club. It really is time for him to go.
