Bayern Munich executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Pep Guardiola will leave the Bundesliga club at the end of the season, to be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.
Guardiola’s contract at Bayern expires at the end of the season and speculation had been rife as to where his future might lie.
The Spaniard has now confirmed that he will leave Bayern, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all said to be interested in him.

It is a significant development in terms of Louis van Gaal’s position at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has come under immense pressure at Man United following the 2-1 defeat against Norwich City on Saturday and many supporters would like to see Guardiola replace him.
It is hard to argue against signing Guardiola, who is known for his expansive, attacking football. Van Gaal, on the other hand, has implemented a slow, possession-based system which the players appear to have lost faith in. City are said to be the front-runners for Guardiola’s signature but United should be doing all they can to bring him in.
