Marcos Rojo watched Manchester United’s game against Stoke City in the Britannia Stadium’s away end with the travelling fans.
The Argentinian is currently sidelined following surgery on a dislocated shoulder but instead of resting at home on Boxing Day, he was in the away end which, for me, is a fantastic thing to see.
Ashley Young did a similar thing at Newcastle United away a couple of seasons ago and I think it is something every player should try to do at some point in their time at the club because it helps build a closer connection with fans.

United’s away support is ace and it’s right that the players praise it and get involved wherever they can. There’s no better way to get close to the fans than to travel away and watch a game with them.
The mere fact our players, and Louis van Gaal, were applauded off after the 2-0 defeat to Stoke says it all really. Red or dead.
