Louis van Gaal continues to freeze out Victor Valdes at Manchester United – report

Louis van Gaal has continued to freeze out Victor Valdes at Manchester United despite the team’s poor form, according to MailOnline.

Van Gaal fell out with Valdes after the Spanish keeper reportedly refused to play for Man United’s U21s side last season.

Every day, Valdes trains on his own at United’s Carrington training ground, often with academy goalkeeper coach Alan Fettis.

His training times are set so he does not see the rest of the first-team while he no longer has a locker in the dressing room.

Valdes remains close friends with the Spanish players at United but as has been the case for a long time now, there is no chance of him playing for the club again.

Reports this week suggested Mexican side Cruz Azul are keen on Valdes but the player would prefer to stay in the Premier League. Van Gaal’s treatment of Valdes has been harsh and it is better for all parties involved if he leaves Old Trafford as quickly as possible, hopefully in the January transfer window.
