Bastian Schweinsteiger has reflected on a “very successful year” in which he moved from Bayern Munich to Manchester United.
Schweinsteiger rose through the ranks at Bayern before enjoying a long and successful career with the German giants.
The midfielder, who captained Germany to World Cup victory last year, was then brought to Man United this summer by Louis van Gaal.

Schweinsteiger has displayed his leadership and experience on a number of occasions for United this term, most notably scoring against Leicester City and forcing a late winner against Watford.
While United may need to pick and choose their moments to use Schweinsteiger as he enters the twilight of his career, he should be a useful player for the club for years to come.
Schweinsteiger will be hoping to keep his place in the starting XI for the game against Swansea City next time out.
