Anthony Martial opened the scoring for Man United at Old Trafford before Gylfi Sigurdsson levelled things up.
Martial’s excellent run and ball into the box then set up Wayne Rooney, who scored with an audacious flick late on. It was a crucial win for Louis van Gaal’s side and De Gea was delighted with the team’s performance:

The first half against Swansea was below par and there were fears that the game would go the same way as recent defeats against Stoke City, Norwich and Bournemouth.
However, United kicked on in the second period and produced a gritty display as they saw off the challenge of Swansea.
Van Gaal would have been desperate for a win against the Swans as United went into the game on the back of an eight game winless streak and he got exactly that. It is important that United kick on now, starting with the FA Cup clash against Sheffield United next week.
