Manchester United’s FA Cup campaign begins on Saturday evening and with an away fixture to Newcastle United just three days later in the Premier League, Louis van Gaal will have to utilise his squad as much as possible.
With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at a potential XI for Man United which sees a few youngsters brought into the team.
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has done admirably since being brought into the team following an injury crisis at left-back and it’s one position where we can’t risk any further injuries, so it would make sense to rest Daley Blind from that role.
Another youngster I really want to see play is Andreas Pereira. He’s been impressive every time he’s got an opportunity and is in need of game time in order to develop at his age.
Do you think we should be playing some youngsters against Newcastle or is too important a competition for us to take that risk in?
