There is next to no chance of Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale moving to Manchester United this summer, according to Daily Telegraph reporter Paul Hayward.
Reports this week suggested Bale was considering his future at Madrid following the Spanish club’s decision to replace Rafael Benitez with Zinedine Zidane.
Man United are rumoured to be long-term admirers of the Welshman and they were reportedly plotting a move this summer. However, Hayward put an end to suggestions Bale could leave Madrid:
Gareth Bale synopsis. 1. Real not selling. 2. Man Utd in flux and not attractive. 3. He's in no rush to go anywhere. 4. Has new boss. Ends.

It is hard to disagree with the reasons Hayward has stated.
While Madrid have suffered a mixed campaign, they are certainly in a better state than United, who have only recently got out of an eight game winless streak in all competitions.
That being said, a lot can happen between now and the end of the campaign. If Zidane shifts Bale out onto the wing instead of his preferred role up top, then the forward may consider his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
