Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has admitted that the club will “evaluate every offer” amid speculation linking Felipe Anderson with a move to Manchester United.
Anderson has been strongly linked to Man United and reports this week suggested they were negotiating a deal for the Brazilian.
Tare refused to rule out a move for Anderson, who has scored five goals and registered three assists in 26 appearances for Lazio this term.
“Players leaving? We’ll evaluate every offer,” Tare said.
Louis van Gaal has often stated that he is looking to add “speed and creativity” to his side and Anderson would fit the bill in that respect.
The likes of Claudio Ranieri and Quique Sanchez Flores have categorically ruled out moves for Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez and Watford’s Odion Ighalo, respectively and Tare’s comments are less conclusive in comparison. It suggests a deal is on the cards but it remains to be seen if United are in the running for Anderson.
