Here is a round-up of the latest Manchester United transfer news.
Reports say Man United are close to signing FC Mainz striker Yoshinori Muto. The 23-year-old hasn’t really been linked with a move to Old Trafford at any point but as we saw with Anthony Martial in the summer, transfers can come out of the blue.
The latest on Felipe Anderson suggests his move to United is being held up because he is entitled to 5% of the fee from Lazio. Given that the 22-year-old would be on great wages at United, it would be strange to see a transfer fail because of something like that.
Ben Pearson is close to leaving United in a £100,000 deal to join Preston North End. The deal could be announced on Monday. For those who have watched Pearson come through our U18s and U21s, it will be bitterly disappointing to see him leave, especially for such a nominal fee.
Finally, Cadena Cope in Spain are linking Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with a move to United. We’ve been linked with him before and these fresh reports are once again suggesting the Spaniard is on Louis van Gaal‘s radar.
