Luke Shaw‘s rehabilitation is continuing to go well and Manchester United fans can’t wait to see him back in action.
The 20-year-old had his photo taken while out with a friend and as you can see he is still walking without crutches which is always an excellent sign that things are going to plan.
Louis van Gaal revealed Shaw’s recovery is currently ahead of schedule at the moment which is fantastic news and although we’re unlikely to see him in action before the end of this season, the earlier his return happens the better.

Shaw’s absence has been such a fundamental reason as to why United’s threat has been on the downward turn since October. Van Gaal’s formation very much relies on the overlapping full-backs to create space and width, so without Shaw we have lost that on the left hand side and Memphis Depay‘s form has plateaued as well because he was building a cracking looking partnership with Shaw; without him, he’s lost a big asset.
Fans will wait patiently for Shaw’s return, as will van Gaal, but I really can’t wait to see him back in action. As he showed prior to that horrible leg break against PSV Eindhoven, he’s got the potential to become one of the world’s best left-backs for sure.
