Everton have slapped a £65m asking price on rumoured Manchester United target Romelu Lukaku, according to the Sun.
Lukaku is enjoying a memorable campaign having already scored 19 goals in all competitions this term, including 12 in his last 14 games.
However, with Everton languishing in 11th in the Premier League, the Belgian may be tempted by a move to Man United as he is said to be keen on playing in the Champions League.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Lukaku but Everton hope that the huge price tag will put off potential suitors.
Everton played hardball with Chelsea over their pursuit of John Stones in the summer and it is likely that they will be equally as determined with Lukaku if a club firms up their interest.
The amount of money in the Premier League right now has made clubs more reluctant to sell their prize assets and United would have to empty their coffers if they did go in for Lukaku. That being said, they may be forced to go in for him as they have been awful from an attacking point of view this season.
