Video: James Wilson scores winner for Brighton vs Huddersfield

by Sam Peoples

James Wilson got back to goalscoring ways by scoring the winning goal for Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend against Huddersfield in their 2-1 win.

He got on the end of a cross and nodded home in the winner just after an hour mark to seal a win which leaves Brighton in third place in the Championship, five points behind Middlesbrough.

Having not scored in his previous seven appearances for Brighton, it’s good to see Wilson back among the goals and that leaves him with three goals in ten games.

As Will Keane was recalled to Manchester United by Louis van Gaal, it’s very unlikely that we will see Wilson return to the club before the end of the season but at high-flying Brighton, he’ll be involved in a promotion chase which is cracking experience.

I’m a big fan of Wilson and really hope he can thrive out on loan at Brighton, so let’s see if he can go on a goalscoring run.
