Manchester United have identified Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo as a potential replacement for David de Gea should the Spaniard leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid in the summer, according to Don Balon.
Madrid were recently hit by a transfer ban but they have submitted an appeal, meaning it could be delayed until after next summer.
The Spanish giants have long held an interest in De Gea and they would likely go back in for him should the transfer ban not be in place.
Man United have identified Bravo, who has conceded just nine goals in 16 league appearances this term, as a potential replacement for De Gea.
However, Barcelona are keen on keeping the 32-year-old and they hope to begin contract negotiations with him.
Losing De Gea would be a worst case scenario for United but it is good that they are putting plans in place if he does go. It remains to be seen if Madrid are successful in their appeal.
