Paris Saint-Germain may be tempted to sell Ezequiel Lavezzi – report

by Ben Topliss

Paris Saint-Germain could be convinced to sell Ezequiel Lavezzi if a late bid comes in for him before the end of the transfer window, according to the Independent.

Argentinian forward Lavezzi is said to be on the radar of Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Juventus.

Lavezzi is out of contract in the summer and a move then would be more likely as he would be available on a free but PSG may sell now if an offer is made.

The player has spent four years at the Parc Des Prince, scoring 29 goals and registering 21 assists in all competitions.

It wouldn’t really make sense for United to spend on Lavezzi now as he is available for free in the summer but, with their problems up top well documented, Louis van Gaal may be tempted to splash out.

Getting a quality addition in now rather than later may be the difference between a successful campaign and a mediocre one, but United are running out of time to make a move.
