The news that Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City next season has sent a shockwave among Manchester United supporters.
Guardiola will likely take City to the next level, while Man United are stagnating under Louis van Gaal.
Guardiola’s appointment has increased calls for Jose Mourinho, who is a free agent, to replace van Gaal at Old Trafford. Supporters had their say on the Portuguese after hearing about City:

City showing their ambition by appointing Guardiola. If we don't act to appoint Simeone or Mourinho now, we'll sink into mediocrity.

#MUFC can't give Giggs the job after LVG. He isn't ready. Mourinho is though. We should be bending over backwards to secure his signature.

United reportedly have reservations over Mourinho’s character and that is a factor worth considering, but his record is unquestionable.
With United out of the Champions League and in danger of missing out on the top four in the Premier League, it does not look like they will be winning trophies under van Gaal anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has succeeded at every club he has managed. United face a pivotal decision when it comes to the 53-year-old and it could shape the club’s success for years to come.
