Will Keane produced a goalscoring masterclass to put five past Norwich City’s U21s on Monday night and it was fantastic to see.
The 23-year-old was on fire and everything he touched turned to gold, summed up by his fourth goal which was an exquisite chip of the highest nature.
Having re-found the sort of goalscoring form which earned him a place on the summer tour only for a cruciate ligament injury to cruelly take that chance away, Manchester United fans are delighted for him.
Will Keane. Take a bow, my boy ????????????????

On the back of this, Will Keane deserves a start for the first team. His ability in front of goal has been phenomenal tonight. #mufc

Will Keane is elite. At least deserves a shot against Shrewsbury, never really had an opportunity to showcase his talent thus far.

Fans want to see Keane come into the team during February because we’ve got the Europa League and FA Cup games on the way and that’s a perfect opportunity to give him a chance he richly deserves.
With ten goals in his last six games, Keane has been outstanding and shown he is above the level of U21s football. His next step is Louis van Gaal giving him a chance and if he wasn’t willing to do that, why would he have brought him back from loan at Preston North End?
The future once again looks bright for Keane and I for one am delighted for him.
