Here is a round-up of today’s Manchester United news and transfer gossip.

AC Milan are still interested in signing Marouane Fellaini in the summer transfer window and have maintained contact with his agent, according to Express.

The midfielder was linked with a move to the Italian side in January on a loan deal with a view to a permanent summer switch but Louis van Gaal made it clear he wasn’t leaving.

Elsewhere, Sky Sports are reporting that Inter Milan left-back Yuto Nagatomo has revealed he rejected a Old Trafford transfer this season.

The Dutchman’s side have struggled with a host of defensive injuries this season and haven’t been able to find a consistent backline. Nagatomo says he is committed to Inter boss Roberto Mancini.

Van Gaal firmly believes Man United have no need to release a statement with regards to the Jose Mourinho reports in the press. It’s been hard to ignore the Mourinho rumours which have snowballed during the week to the point where it has been reported that personal terms have already been agreed in principle.

Lastly, the Old Trafford boss has confirmed Will Keane is in Man United’s squad to face Sunderland this weekend. The 23-year-old striker grabbed headlines earlier this week after an amazing five goal haul against Norwich City in a 7-0 victory for the U21s and has been rewarded with a place on the first-team.
