Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has suggested Jose Mourinho to Manchester United is a done deal.
Mourinho has been heavily linked to Man United over the last two weeks and this is not the first time reports of a done deal have come out in the press, following separate rumours earlier in February.
Speaking about Louis van Gaal, Redknapp admits it’s been a disaster for him at the club and goes on to quote his own sources, saying Jose will replace the Dutchman.
Mourinho reports just won’t seem to go away will they? And I don’t expect them to either, mainly because I think the Portuguese manager will replace van Gaal and it’s more a case of when and not if.
Neil Custis from The Sun suggested he could become boss before the Arsenal game before the end of February which leaves only a couple of weeks for that to be pushed over the line if it were to happen.
At this stage in his tenure, United fans have lost patience with van Gaal and the sooner he is replaced, probably by Mourinho, the better we’ll be. Who knows, if it happens quickly enough then we may have an even better chance of finishing in the top four.
