A trio of Manchester United could make their debut for the senior side against FC Midtjylland on Thursday evening.
Regan Poole, Joe Riley and James Weir were all surprise inclusions from Louis van Gaal but given that 13 players are unavailable due to injury or illness, the Dutchman was forced to bring plenty of youngsters over to Denmark.
Out of the three, Riley is the player I feel is most likely to play against FC Midtjylland as he can operate as a left-back which has become available due to Cameron Borthwick-Jackson‘s absence.
For Poole, it’s been an exciting start to life as a Man United player having only received his international clearance last month and Weir has been on the bench a couple of times already. All three took part in the final training session and will be ready to face FC Midtjylland if called upon.
Another player who could make his full debut is Donald Love and he’s likely to start because there are effectively no other right-backs in the squad.
