David de Gea’s knee injury is not serious and he should be back in action for next week’s fixtures against FC Midtjylland or Arsenal, according to The Times’ James Ducker.
De Gea injured himself in the warm up of the first leg of the Europa League tie against Midtjylland on Thursday.
Sergio Romero put in a superb performance in De Gea’s absence but the Argentine could not prevent Man United losing 2-1. De Gea was the latest in a string of injuries for United but he should be back in a matter of days:

The news will come as a boost for Louis van Gaal, who has lost the likes of Wayne Rooney and Matteo Darmian to injury in recent weeks.
Van Gaal’s decision to trim the squad in the summer has come back to haunt him and the blame for United’s poor form lately has to lie with him.
