Antonio Valencia and Marcos Rojo back in training with Manchester United

by Sam Peoples

Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia returned to action for Manchester United this week in training to give us a much needed injury boost.

Both players have been sidelined for some time after undergoing surgery, on a dislocated shoulder and ankle respectively, but are now fit enough to return to train alongside their team-mates.

With so many injuries really hurting our small squad this year, it’s a big boost to have the duo return and will certainly give Louis van Gaal more options heading into March.

We’re expecting to hear confirmation from van Gaal on whether they will be fit to face FC Midtjylland during his press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

Regardless of whether they can play the Danish side, it’s just good to see players coming back from injury. We’ve had terrible luck with them this year and it’s about time those fortunes started to turn around, starting with Valencia and Rojo.
