Manchester United’s players were in fine mood following the superb 5-1 victory over FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday.
Louis van Gaal’s side produced arguably one of their best performances of the season at Old Trafford to advance into the next stage of the Europa League.
18-year-old debutant Marcus Rashford scored twice, Memphis Depay was in imperious form and the likes of Joe Riley and Guillermo Varela put in excellent displays. Man United’s players expressed their delight following the victory:

Of course, Midtjylland did not provide much by way of resistance, particularly during the second half, but United have to start somewhere and they were fantastic at Old Trafford.
Arsenal will provide a much sterner test in the Premier League on Sunday but players such as Rashford will be full of confidence heading into the match.
Getting a positive result out of Arsenal would be a big boost in terms of confidence in van Gaal, but it is easier said than done, and supporters shouldn’t get too carried away despite the win on Thursday.
