Marcus Rashford has just enjoyed the best week of his young career so far at Manchester United and now he can buy himself a memorabilia scarf to top it off. Does life get any better than that for the 18-year-old? I don’t think so.
Merchandise sellers are certainly quick off the mark. Only a few weeks ago there were Jose Mourinho scarves outside Old Trafford after the news intensified about him being a potential replacement to Louis van Gaal. Now that’s died down, the excitement over Rashford has taken over.
United fans were gripped by Rashford’s performance against Arsenal. It is a Premier League debut which won’t ever be forgotten and we’ve all got caught up in the Rashford wave along with the merchandise sellers and the press.

As United fans, there is no feeling which compares to seeing an academy player flourish. I went absolute bonkers after his second against Arsenal, ended up with bruises on my shins and hugged about nine random people I’d never met before. It was one of the best feelings I’ve had inside Old Trafford for a while.
While I won’t be first in the queue to get a Rashford scarf, I’ve been fully engrossed by what he’s done on the pitch in the last two games and can’t wait to see what he can do against Watford.
