Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson looked distinctly unimpressed while watching the 2-0 defeat against Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday.
Man United put in an awful performance at Anfield and they were deservedly beaten thanks to goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino.
Ferguson, who won a host of trophies during a 26-year reign at United, could only shake his head as he watched on from the stands:
The Scot retired in 2013 and he has slowly seen his dynasty at Old Trafford decimated by David Moyes and now Louis van Gaal.
The United team that played against Liverpool were an insult to everything that Ferguson instilled at the club during his time in charge.
There was no fight, no desire and no emotion in what has always been the biggest game for supporters. United are a disgrace from top to bottom and it has been painful to see the direction the team are heading.
