It’s a matter of time before De Gea becomes Spain’s No.1 goalkeeper and his superb form again this year for Manchester United certainly has him in contention to start at Euro 2016.
Mata has had his moments for Man United as well but his inconsistent form means he is unlikely to start for Spain any time soon, at least that’s what I think, given how many quality midfielders they have.

Unfortunately for Ander Herrera, his long wait to make his Spain debut continues as Del Bosque hasn’t included him in his squad and given that he’s been in and out of United’s team, that’s not too much of a surprise.
When De Gea does finally take over from Iker Casillas Spain’s No.1 then it will be richly deserved but heading into this summer, United fans will once again be concerned over whether he could leave the club.
