Anthony Martial joined up with his France team-mates this week ahead of their upcoming international friendlies with the Netherlands and Russia.
Martial, 20, only made his France debut earlier this season following his big money move to Manchester United but has since gone on to have a great first season in the Premier League.
With 12 goals in all competitions, he’s become one of Man United’s most important players and put himself in line to start for France in Euro 2016.
Martial might be the stand-out performer and a guaranteed starter for United but he’s got his work cut out getting in that France team for Euro 2016.
Their squad is littered with talent such as Kingsley Coman, Antoine Griezmann, Dmitri Payet and a host of other players who’ll all be vying for the same spots in Didier Deschamps’ team. That being said, Martial has definitely got to be one of the favourites for a starting position.
We’ll follow Martial during the international break and see how he gets on with France.
