Manchester United’s Anthony Martial recorded another impressive performance this season while playing for France in their 3-2 friendly win against the Netherlands on Friday.
Martial replaced Antoine Griezmann at half time at the Amsterdam Arena and he looked lively as he eventually set up Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi for the winner.
The through ball was a relatively simple one but it was executed perfectly and it served to remind supporters of Martial’s talent. Man United fans were full of praise for the 20-year-old:

2 assists for Memphis and 1 assist for Martial tonight in Netherlands vs France. Looks like the #MUFC boys can actually play.

There were eyebrows raised when United decided to pay an initial £36m for Martial in the summer but he has proven to be worth every penny.
Despite his tender age, Martial plays the game with a presence of mind that belies his years.
Often United’s most dangerous player over the course of the campaign, the current situation would be a lot worse were it not for Martial’s efforts.
