Louis Saha has praised the way that Manchester United’s Anthony Martial is always looking to improve.
Martial has been one of Man United’s standout performers this term, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.
The Frenchman arrived at Old Trafford as something of an unknown quantity in the summer but he has blown all the expectations of him out of the water. Saha, a former United forward himself, was full of praise for his compatriot.
“What I really like about him is that he is willing to improve. He is listening and trying to get things going,” Saha said.
“He hasn’t been helped because the team hasn’t been performing consistently, so imagine if a few players stepped it up? Then it would have been even easier for him.”
Martial really has been in superb form this season and his rise to prominence has been made all the more remarkable by his tender age and the fact that United have been subpar over the course of the campaign.
The 20-year-old has been a huge positive for supporters in what has been a disappointing campaign and it will be exciting to see how Martial develops at Old Trafford.
