Romelu Lukaku’s father believes that his son must choose between a move to Manchester United or Bayern Munich this summer.
Lukaku has enjoyed a blistering campaign for Everton this term, netting 25 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions.
His form has reportedly alerted a number of top sides in Europe but Lukaku Snr insisted that his son must move to Man United or Bayern.
“He’s ready,” Lukaku Sr. told Het Laatste Nieuws.
“I see that there is interest from Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United.
“I think he must choose Manchester United or Bayern Munich. Manchester United is a team under construction with no real focus.
“Bayern Munich is a machine where he can rotate well. The only condition is if Robert Lewandowski leaves.”
Along with Lukaku, United have been linked with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in recent weeks.
It is clear that the club are on the hunt for a top striker as they look to reestablish themselves among the elite in Europe next season. While Marcus Rashford has done superbly recently, United undoubtedly need a world-class talent to take them back to the top.
