Manchester United’s Luke Shaw enjoyed a trip to Dubai while his England teammates secured a 3-2 friendly win over Germany on Saturday.
Shaw is still recovering from a double fracture of his right leg sustained during Man United’s Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven last year.
England beat Germany thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Eric Dier but Shaw instead watched California Chrome win the world’s richest horse race in Dubai.
It is good to see that Shaw has been deemed well enough to make the trip to Dubai.
Recent reports have suggested that the youngster will return to training next month and that he is hopeful of playing again before the end of the campaign.
Shaw was arguably United’s best player prior to his injury and his return would be a huge boost to the side ahead of the final stretch of the season.
