Timothy Fosu-Mensah put in an encouraging performance from the substitute’s bench in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Everton on Sunday.
The 18-year-old eventually set up Anthony Martial’s winner following a marauding run down the right hand side. Man United fans and pundits were full of praise for Martial:
Brilliantly worked goal by #mufc. Fosu-Mensah a promising central midfielder but his pace and power at full-back is so valuable.

Fosu-Mensah ended the game at centre-back following an injury to Daley Blind and he was excellent as United saw out the three points.
The youngster is really making a name for himself in the first team at United and it will be exciting to see where he ends up.
