Antonio Valencia has completed a handful of cameo appearances for Manchester United in recent weeks having returned from injury and he will be hopeful of starting against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Valencia had been sidelined for a lengthy period of time after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury last year.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah impressed in the win over Everton last time out but Valencia’s pace and power could come in handy against a disciplined Spurs side:
Rooney has been in light training this week following a knee problem but Rashford’s form has been excellent.
Spurs will provide a tough test at Old Trafford but it is crucial that United get a positive result to keep themselves in the race to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
